Antonio Tocari St. James caught the acting bug at an early point in his life, with his first stage play being the high school production of OTHELLO.  In 2010, Antonio would land a role in the short film, OSI, and it would help him perfect the bad boy image that he has come to be known for.  With a string of short films under his belt, and the ability to navigate from the stage to film with ease, he decided to aim for something bigger: Hollywood.

In the Summer/Fall of 2013, he would land three roles of a lifetime. The first being the David Fincher blockbuster thriller GONE GIRL, and the indie-films THE MAKINGS of YOU and EXPECT DELAYS.  The roles would not stop there.  The following year, he would appear alongside Sophia Bush in NBC's CHICAGO P.D., in Lee Daniel's EMPIRE on FOX, and in the Netflix smash series SENSE8, directed by none other than the siblings who brought you the MATRIX, the Wachowskis.

When asked about his love for acting, he had this to say: "Being an actor allows me the freedom and range to be and experience so many different things, and I love it!  Before I leave this earth I want to make a huge contribution to the film world, in a positive way. I want to inspire others, and I want my mother and brother to be very proud of my accomplishments. That is what truly matters the most to me." He is also one of the founding members of the student-based organization Film Club for his former high school, which has grown in popularity over the years.  It is his dream to one day produce a film about the late R&B singers Luther Vandross and Otis Redding.

The Future definitely seems bright for Mr. St. James, who has also landed co-starring roles in the Showtime series The Chi, and A.P.B. on FOX.  He has assured us that "[we] haven't seen anything yet." With all that he has accomplished, we must agree, the best is yet to come.
